Issue/Introduction

Symantec CloudSoc (CASB)
With Symantec Web Security Service (WSS)

Question:
Can CASB push a list of SaaS sites that we want to block to WSS to be blocked?

Resolution

CASB does not have the ability to push a list of SaaS sites to be blocked to the WSS server.
As a workaround, you can export the list of sites to be blocked from the CASB server as a .csv.
Then import that list manually into WSS.

Another option is to use the DLP Cloud Connector to integrate the WSS server with the DLP Enforce server.
Then use the DLP Enforce server to build a policy to block the required sites.
