Unable to connect to Data Loss Prevention database

Error: An unexpected error has occurred. Contact your system administrator if this problem persists. 

The Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP) admin cannot log in to the Enforce console.

The volume in which DLP is installed begins to fill up with bad incident files (.bad).

Incident Queue begins to grow in size.


Ensure the Oracle Service is running

Ensure the Oracle Database instance is not in an idle state by connecting to the Oracle Server using SQLPlus

Check the Database used space. If full, add additional data files to Oracle.
