Issue/Introduction

Procedural guidance is required to migrate existing Control Compliance Suite managers and agents to a new Control Compliance Suite setup.

Resolution

Migration of Control Compliance Suite components to a new CCS setup includes the following phases:

  1. Backing up existing CCS components and configuration data
  2. Creating a new CCS setup
  3. Restoring backed-up CCS components and configuration data to new setup
  4. Registering an existing Manager to a new Application Server

After you complete this procedure, you can use your existing Control Compliance Suite managers and agents on a new Control Compliance Suite setup, without any need for reconfiguration of these components.
