Issue/Introduction

You may find that after making changes to a Data Identifier validator and saving the page in the Enforce Console, your policy does not appear to be using the changes that you made to the validator.

Cause

The validator was modified but those changes were not saved to the database by using the "Add Validator" button on the Edit page for a Data Identifier.

Resolution

In order to save any changes to a validator you must click on the "Add Validator" button whether the validator is brand new or you are modifying an existing one. Clicking only the Save button on the page does not save changes to the validator.
