Issue/Introduction

When does the DB13BIND TSS/DB2 Synchronization Utility need to be run?

Release: TOPSDB00200-1.3-Top Secret-Security-Option for DB2 UDB

Resolution

You would need to run the conversion utility for only two reasons:
1) You have an existing DB2 subsystem running under native DB2 security that you now want to bring under TSS/DB2 control.
2) You decide you want TSSDB2 to start using the TSS/DB2 Synchronization Utility.

Otherwise no reason to run job DB13BIND.
