Issue/Introduction

DMARC records in the DNS can be configured with a maximum report size but when a maximum report size is set as shown below, Symantec Messaging Gateway (SMG) does not send the expected report.

v=DMARC1;p=none;ruf=mailto:[email protected]!50m

No error is generated in the logs.

Resolution

This is a known issue and will be addressed with a future release. In the interim, please do not configure report limits in the DNS TXT record for DMARC if reporting is desired.
