Issue/Introduction

Security Status shows attention needed for "Locked LiveUpdate Content Policies".

Cause

The LiveUpdate Content Policy has been set to named revisions

OR

The 'LiveUpdate Content Policy' has been corrupted.

Resolution

Follow below steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Under Policies > Select LiveUpdate Policy > Click on LiveUpdate Content Policy tab.
  2. Edit the LiveUpdate Content policy.
  3. Check the Security Definitions and see if anything is set to anything other than "Use latest available". This means that that content has been locked to a revision or engine version.
  4. Switch to "Use latest available"
  5. Hit OK
  6. Assign the policy to desired groups.

OR

  1. Under Policies > Select LiveUpdate Policy > Click on LiveUpdate Content Policy tab.
  2. Either create a new LiveUpdate Content policy or import a working LiveUpdate Content policy from a good SEPM and assign it to the necessary groups.
  3. After sometime, you can perceive under Home > Security Status, View Details shows Good (as shown in below screenshot) for Locked LiveUpdate Content Policies.
