Issue/Introduction

An enhancement to the Symantec Application Classification feature on Global Intelligence Network (GIN) has became effective on 31 May 2018 (refer to the official announcement).

After the enhancement, application name Amazon Cloud Drive has been changed to Amazon Drive on GIN.
However, the new application name Amazon Drive is not seen on PacketShaper even after the changes on GIN.
Also, new name Office 365 Sway is not seen on PacketShaper.

Resolution

This is expected behavior because not all applications are managed by PacketShaper.
For example, PacketShaper has not managed Amazon Cloud Drive through before the changes on GIN.
That's why you still don't see new application name Amazon Drive on PacketShaper even after the changes on GIN.
