Cause

Detection checks 8.1 and older do not support wild cards.

Resolution

Starting in version 8.5, the following rules will support the use of Wild Cards:

• Registry Key Exists rule supports partial key name + '*' (asterisk) in the end of the reg path
• Static File Expression rule supports wildcards in the name of the file (several asterisks or question marks).  NOTE: Wildcards allowed for file name only, not for folders path.
