FEATURE REQUEST: Virtual Keyboard Support for Samsung Galaxy Book

Issue/Introduction

Endpoint Encryption version 11.1.2 introduced Virtual Keyboard support for Microsoft Surface Pro 1, 3, and 4 model machines.

While the Virtual Keyboard may function properly on other machines as well, we have only tested, and only officially support the Surface Pro machines listed above.

The Virtual Keyboard may function on the Samsung Galaxy Book, but may require a more substantial touch and hold to get passed the Splash Screen, rather than the "touch" as is in the instructions.

Resolution

A Feature Request has been submitted to officially support the Virtual Keyboard for the Samsung Galaxy Book.

Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers. Technical Support filed a Feature Request to add the functionality listed above. This Feature Request is currently being considered by Symantec Corporation to be addressed in a forthcoming version of the product.
