Issue/Introduction

When running "Step 1 - Discover" from the "First Time Setup" you will see the following error:

 

An error occured during the disovery process. Check the domain name or workgroup to ensure that the credentials are valid.

Steps to Duplicate:

Go to the Symantec Management Console > Home > First Time Setup.

Click on Discover Computers. You will see the following:

Do the following:

Click the box for “Import Windows computers from”

Click button for “Domain – Microsoft Active Directory

Choose your Domain using the “Domain or Workgroup” drop-down box.

Enter the credentials

Click "Next", then on the next page click "Discover". You will see the following.
