Cannot Install Servicedesk - Database Integration Strategy Error

Issue/Introduction

Customer was attempting to upgrade Servicedesk from 7.5 Sp1 to 8.1.   The error listed below was displayed.

 

 

 

Database Integration Strategy failed due to an error: The transaction log for database 'ProcessManager' is full due to 'Log_Backup'

System.Exception:Database Configuration could not be installed correctly.  Installation cannot be

continued 

   at Symantec.Workflow.Installer.InstallerManager.Run()

Installation Failed.

Cause

Disk drive where the SQL transaction logs were stored was full.

Environment

Upgrade from Servicedesk 7.5 to 8.1

Resolution

Customer cleaned out the drive, executed the Workflow installer, which was successful, and then  executed the SD installer as an upgrade, which was also successful.
