Issue/Introduction

User or company policy necessitates a disclaimer to append an e-mail, and also requires information from the header presented.

Resolution

The Symantec Messaging Gateway (SMG) is not designed to parse fields from other parts of the email for annotation.

Annotation is designed for stationary notices (i.e. disclaimers). More information can be obtained from the SMG Administration Guide.
