DLP Agent install failed with x64otlrdm.dll failed to register

Issue/Introduction

When trying to install the Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Prevention agent the listed error message is displayed in the installagent.msi log file.

MSI (s) (50:44) [15:30:08:639]: Executing op: RegSelfReg(File=x64otlrdm.dll,FileID=x64otlrdm.dll)
CustomAction +x64otlrdm.dll returned actual error code -1073740791 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)
MSI (s) (50:44) [15:30:09:289]: Product: AgentInstall64_15_0 -- Error 1904.Module C:\Program Files\Manufacturer\Endpoint Agent\x64otlrdm.dll failed to register.  HRESULT -1073740791.  Contact your support personnel.

Environment

• DLP 14.x

Resolution

• The issue was resolved by uninstalling outlook then installing the DLP agent.
• We believe that this issue might be a conflict with the version of outlook from early 2018.
