Running CTSSYNC with SYNC,vvvvvv command I noticed message "TCDB ERROR 014" in the CTSSYNC ATL RESPONSE LOG in SYSPRINT:

What is the meaning of TCDB ERROR 014?

Resolution

This is an informational message. It indicates, that volume had an error status, which was removed by the SYNC command. The TCDB ERRORs are described in IBM Macro CBRVERR in SYS1.MACLIB. For 014 we have:

 

VERR_REJTMS   EQU   14             VOLUME REJECTED BY THE TAPE         

*                                    MANAGEMENT SYSTEM             @D2A

 

 

In this case the tape was rejected previously at OPEN OUTPUT by CA 1 or TLMS for any reason.
