Issue/Introduction

Get inventory task from an individual computer or a group of client computers ensures that the Ghost Solution Suite Database is updated with the latest computer properties information like:

• Applications
• Devices
• Drivers
• Hardware
• Location
• Network
• Services
• TCP-IP
• General

Apple introduced a new proprietary APFS files system starting from macOS High Sierra (10.13.x).

Deployment (GSS) agent (adlagent) fails to collect and populate Drives information.

There are no errors, but Computer Properties -> Drives section remains unpopulated in GSS Console. 

Environment

GSS 3.2 up to and including RU6.

Cause

There is a defect in the volume enumeration script.

Resolution

The volume enumeration script will be corrected starting from GSS 3.2 RU7.
