PacketShaper crashed and rebooted on "F: Assert failed in pscfgset.c line 2361"

Issue/Introduction

The PacketShaper reboots unexpectedly.  In the crashlog, the following entry could be seen in the last line of the crash trace:

F: Assert failed in pscfgset.c line 2361

 

Resolution

The cause of the crash is usually caused by an issue in Configuration.  This crash was identified as the following bug:

Bug 255284 Summary: "F: Assert failed in pscfgset.c line 2361" - PS crashed during 72 hours burn using LDAP

 

Note:  This issue is fixed in PacketShaper Software image version 9.2.13P7.
