Issue/Introduction
A 3rd party application is asking if they can change the IIS Application ASDK Task so that Basic Authentication is enabled. Will this cause any abnormal function?

Resolution
It is OK to enable Basic Authentication on the ASDK.Task. No adverse affect will come to the rest of the system, as this only affects items using this ASDK.Task Application.
