Issue/Introduction

Why does CA Spectrum not show any interface information, such as IfAlias and IfName, for Enterasys Matrix 6G switches, that are modeled, even though the information is populated in OneClick MibTools?

Environment

Spectrum 10.0 Spectrum 10.1.x Spectrum 10.2.0 Spectrum 10.2.1 Spectrum 10.2.2

Resolution

There is a certification issue, that prevents the IfAlias and IfName fields from being populated in Spectrum 10.0 / 10.1.x / 10.2.0 / 10.2.1 / 10.2.2.

This has been addressed in Spectrum 10.2.3 and above. Reference the following entry from the "Issued Resolved" section of the documentation:

Symptom: Device Model Type "Matrix 6G" models interfaces as Inet_If_Port.

Resolution: Performance tab and attributes of interfaces of Enterasys devices are displayed correctly in OneClick console.
