Issue/Introduction

CA's On Premise Monitor Station documentation states that an OPMS instance requires outbound firewall access to ports 80 and 443 and inbound access on port 443 to establish a WSS (WebSocket Secure) connection to opp.asm.ca.com.      Is outbound firewall access on Port 80 necessary to run an OPMS?

Environment

ASM versions 10 and earlier.

Resolution

Outbound access on port 80 is only required during installation, to reach required repositories and download installation packages. Once the installation process is complete, only inbound and outbound access on port 443 is required
