Data Loss Prevention Cloud Service for Email Data Loss Prevention Cloud Detection Service

Issue/Introduction

After the addition of a second Cloud Detector, the DLP Cloud Detection Service is not completing the sync of configured applications

"Sync Pending"

Cause

There are 2 possible issues.

Firstly, there is a known defect when 2 servers for Cloud Detection are registered in the same Enforce console. This issue usually arises after the second one is added. The solution in this case requires upgrading to 15.0 MP1, available on FileConnect.

There is a second possible cause for this issue, related to the configuration of individual Gatelets or Securlets in the "Manage Application Detection" fields. See related article link to TECH248649 for that solution.

Environment

A DLP Enforce environment registered with 2 or more Cloud Detection servers - at least one of which is the Cloud Detection
Service that detects data in applications managed by the CloudSOC (aka Elastica CASB).

Resolution

For the environment described in this article, download and apply Maintenance Pack 1 for DLP v15 (15.0 MP1, 15.0.0100.01063).
