Does Advanced Threat Protection Support Network Address Translation?

Issue/Introduction

Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) is behind a Network Address Translation (NAT) device and you wonder if Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) can communicate to the ATP through the NAT device.
 

Resolution

ATP does not support NAT communication between the ATP and SEPM, SEPM DB (Embedded or MSSQL) or SEP clients.  While a 1:1 Static NAT Forwarder may work in this scenario, results may vary.
