After changing the Symantec Management Platform (SMP) Application Identity account, when attempting to access IT Analytics Information, reports could not be run. When reviewing the IT Analytics configuration page in the SMP portal, the following error was displayed:
"Analysis Server: Database 'XXXXXXXXX' does not exist
Report Server: The permissions granted to user 'domain\AppIDAccount' are insufficient for performing this operation.
Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.AccessDeniedException: The permissions granted to user 'domain\AppIDAccount' are insufficient for performing this operation."

IT Analytics 8.x
IT Analytics uses the App Identity for the Symantec Mangement Platform to communicate with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services. This account requires Administrative rights to the Analysis Service on SQL server. That account is also used for connection to the SQL Server Reporting Service. The error message explains that, on the Report Server, it appears that in addition to changing the Application Identity account on the SMP, the account was not changed into the Report Manager console and grant the new account rights to use the system.
Access the Report Manager console by browsing to:
https://<ReportServer_name>/Reports
Once there, access Site Settings and modify/add the new SMP application Identity user account.
