Change Edge SWG (ProxySG) Web or CLI management timeout

Issue/Introduction

Change the length of time a Web or Command Line Interface (CLI) session persists before being logged out

Environment

The default timeout for these options is:

• Enforce Web auto-logout — 15 minutes
• Enforce CLI auto-logout — 5 minutes

Resolution

To change the timeout on Edge SWG (ProxySG)

Via GUI (Edge SWG (ProxySG) Admin Console (SGAC))

1. Select Configuration tab > Authentication > Console Access

Via GUI (old Java based Management Console)

1.Select Configuration tab > Authentication > Console Access > Console Account tab. 

2.Configure the timeout by doing one of the following:

• Set values for Web or CLI auto-logout. Acceptable values are between 1 and 1440 minutes.
• Deselect the auto-logout to disable it.

3.Click the Apply button.

 

Via CLI in enable mode
