We use the automatic update of LLA by PDSMAN for linklist pds. Today we did a job using IEBCOPY to copy a pgm from a pds to another which is in the linklist. The LLA wasn't refreshed and we don't get the PDSMLLA message.

We use the automatic update of LLA by PDSMAN for linklist pds. Today we did a job using IEBCOPY to copy a pgm from a pds to another which is in the linklist. The LLA wasn't refreshed and we don't get the PDSMLLA message.

In your PDSMINIT file you have the following settings:

$LLA   LIB=-LNKLST- 

          UPDATELLA=Y  

          NOTIFY=Y                          ---->    This should produce the message when the update is completed

          MONITORMSG=Y 

          LRDRUPDT=Y   

 

It appears you have everything set correctly but the message is still not issued.

Issue the following command from the console.                F PDSMAN,NEWRULES

This will refresh the rules and all should be good.
