Issue/Introduction

ProxySG Intelligence Service Status Section.

Under Configuration > Content Filtering > Blue Coat > Data Source;Intelligence Services
You may occur an error under the License and Download Status, "% Device is not entitled to download Categorization Database."

 

Verify that SGOS version is 6.6.3.x or above. Symantec Intelligence Services is introduced in SGOS version 6.6.3.x.

Steps to check

  1. Verify if intelligence service bundle is activated and displaying under Maintenance > Licensing > "Intelligence Service Bundles"
  2. If "Intelligence Service Bundles" section is blank, verify that the ProxySG appliance has a valid Symantec Intelligence Services license in http://support.broadcom.com/ > Symantec Enterprise Security> My Entitlements
  3. Enter the serial number, search and click on License and then Add-ons
  4. Note and then remove any expired licenses by highlighting them and moving them to the left, refer to article Linking Symantec Software Add-Ons To The Appliances for more details.
  5. Under appliance, navigate to Maintenance > Licensing > Install, click on update or retrieve, confirm it is successful to confirm communication to the subscription server is up. Automatically check for updates should be checked.
  6. Replication can take up to 2 hours
