Bloomberg Application connectivity issues when connecting through Cloud SWG WSS Agent

Issue/Introduction

When WSS Agent is connected, various issues may be seen with the Bloomberg application such as connectivity issues or issues opening PDF files from the Bloomberg application.

Cloud SWG (formerly Web Security Service)

Cause

Bloomberg application is known to use 127.0.0.1 (localhost) to communicate. WSS Agent intercepts localhost.

Resolution

Following Bloomberg's documentation, add the following IP address to the Cloud SWG IP Bypass List: 

127.0.0.1

Per Bloomberg's network requirements, it says that localhost should be allowed and SSL interception is not supported. For additional information on this please refer to the following:
