Why are duplicate device modes created for VMWare Workstation-Server from UIM integration

Issue/Introduction

The integration between CA Spectrum and CA UIM allows for modelling vCenters discovered in UIM automatically in Spectrum. 

Why do duplicate device models get created for the VMware vCenter Server modeled from the UIM integration for VMware management, even though there is only one vCenter system in the UIM inventory?

And why can the duplicated models not be removed or deleted using the Spectrum OneClick console?

Environment

Spectrum 10.3.x, 10.4.x integrated with UIM

Resolution

This issue is observed in Spectrum when there is model duplication in UIM. Once this is corrected in UIM by deleting the duplicates, the issue will no longer be observed in Spectrum.
