Issue/Introduction

You would like to uninstall Unified Agent from MacOS X via Terminal / Command Prompt.

Environment

OS X

Resolution

  1. On your macOS machine, open Terminal Go> Utilities> Terminal
  2. To Uninstall with an uninstall token, type the following command:

sudo /Library/Application\ Support/bcua/Uninstall\ Blue\ Coat\ Unified\ Agent.app/Contents/MacOS/uninstall-helper –ut <uninstall token>

 

Alternatively, to uninstall without an uninstall token, type the following command:

 

sudo /Library/Application\ Support/bcua/Uninstall\ Blue\ Coat\ Unified\ Agent.app/Contents/MacOS/uninstall-helper
