Issue/Introduction

Quick, Package Delivery tasks and Managed Policies hang while running, detection and downloads continue.

You see in the logs that it has executed, but the associated EXE, MSI, script, or other process never launches.

Cause

This is a known issue.

Resolution

For version 8.1, it is part of 8.1 RU4. Upgrade to this version to resolve the issue (it requires a new SMA to be rolled out).
For version 8.0 HF6, the fix for this issue is part of the 8.0 HF6 rollup #5. This is available here: INFO4241
