With  RHEL 7.3 on a Data Loss Prevention server, services may no longer start automatically after a system reboot.

Prior to RHEL 7.3, the chkconfig utility was leveraged to manage the auto-start of Data Loss Prevention services. This utility is no longer included in RHEL 7.3, the systemctl utility must be used instead.

To enable Data Loss Prevention services to start automatically (after a reboot), complete the following:

Log onto the Enforce server and SU as root, then run the following:

systemctl enable SymantecDLPManagerService

systemctl enable SymantecDLPIncidentPersisterService

systemctl enable SymantecDLPDetectionServerControllerService

systemctl enable SymantecDLPNotifierService

Log onto to Detection server and su as root, then run the following:

systemctl enable SymantecDLPDetectionServerService
