When installing Symantec Endpoint Protection Cloud (SEPC) software on a Windows machine, the installer fails and rolls back.

There may be different errors that cause the visible failures above.
From Norton Installer logging:
Error : Error Info: Transaction: 00060002, Details: dll_register_server.exe, HRESULT: 0x8007000d
The cause may vary, depending on the errors logged above.
Run all current Symantec AV product removal tools: CleanWipe, Norton Removal Tool (NRT), and Cloud Endpoint Diagnostic and Removal (CEDAR). Additionally, try running Microsoft's Program Install / Uninstall Fix Tool: Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed.
NOTE: On Windows 10, some users have successfully gotten around this error just by removing the MDM (mobile device management) profile, then running Norton Removal Tool (NRT), rebooting, and trying the enrollment again.
To execute these steps go to : Windows Settings > Accounts > access work or school OR
start button > type "work or school" and click "connect to work or school"
Remove the Symantec profile there. Once removed, run Norton Removal Tool (NRT), reboot, and start enrollment again.
