Management Console reports error "An add-on for this website failed to run."

Issue/Introduction

When trying to access the Console from the server a blank page opened and a notification window appears stating "An add-on for this website failed to run." I am unable to access the console from the server but remote connections still work.

Resolution

Enable ActiveX and javascripting under the Internet Settings > Security Tab
