Endpoint Encryption client cannot check in using HTTPS

Issue/Introduction

Symantec Endpoint Encryption (SEE) 11.1.2.
Windows clients.
New install of SEE and the clients will not check in with the server using HTTPS.

Cause

The SEE Web Server HTTPS port is set to 636. 
That port is the well-known port for LDAP over SSL (LDAPS).

Resolution

Changed the SEE Web Server HTTPS to port 8088.
Rebuilt the client installer package.
Reinstalled and the client now connects to the server.
