Issue/Introduction

We send traffic explicitly to the ProxySG on multiple ports (e.g. 8080, 8082, 8084), and we need to be able to apply policy based on these ports (for example, if it is port 8082 just allow, if it is port 8080 allow and authenticate, if it is port 8084 deny, etc..)

Resolution

You can perform this in Visual Policy Manager (VPM) or using CPL. This is how to:

VPM:

Web Access Layer -> Source -> Proxy IP Address/port -> populate only the Port section with the proxy port number

CPL:

<proxy>
proxy.port=<port #> <action>

e.g.

<proxy>
proxy.port=8080 allow
