Workspace Virtualization (formerly SVS) Workspace Streaming (formerly AppStream)

Issue/Introduction

Need to get more detail logs from workspace virtualization when doing basic fuctions within the product. 

Unable to determine root cause of issues surrounding the workspace virtualiztion product

Resolution

Informational logging can be enabled through adding additional command line arguements in the VzService services. 

  1. start
  2. run
  3. services.msc
  4. find Workspace Virtualization service and stop it
  5. in the General tab, go to start parameters at the bottom of that window
  6. add "-L15" (without quotes) to the Start parameters box
  7.  
  8. start the service
  9. in the event viewer logs>Windows logs> Application,  you will see aditional logging:
