How do I clear raised events that no longer have a Threshold Profile rule in CA Performance Management

Resolution

If an event is raised and the Threshold profile rule is deleted, the clear is raised by an orphan event process that runs nightly that should clear events that no longer are valid.

Below is an example description from a clear event raised by this process:

"A Threshold Violation event has been cleared on ‘CPU1’. (Profile Name: Test, Reason for clearing: The Event Rule that originally raised the Threshold Violation has been deleted.)."
