Issue/Introduction
Managed Symantec Encryption Desktop (SED) client 10.3.2 MP13 and 10.4.x
Windows 7 32-bit
- After installing the SED client the mapped drives disappear from the client.
- The mapped drives reappear of the IP address is manually assigned instead of using DHCP.
Cause
Conflicting network providers with LogMeIn.
Resolution
- The Network Provide Order shows the following:
RDPNP,LanmanWorkstation,webclient,LMIRfsClientNP,PGPpwflt
- The LMIRfsClientNP is the network provider for LogMeIn.
- We then moved the PGPpwflt to be ahead of the LMIRfsClientNP.
- We then reset the computer to use DHCP.
- After rebooting we confirmed that the IP address was obtained via DHCP and the mapped drives show up as expected.
