Issue/Introduction

One server is continuously rebooting every 5 minutes. System event logs shown Symantec Management Agent initiating the reboots.

Cause

Suspected cause if an orphaned deferred poweraction.

Environment

ITMS 8.0 HF4

Resolution

On the problematic computer open "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Altiris\Altiris Agent\Dynamic Data\PowerActions"
The next action is to remove the "ScheduledPowerActionDeferralFlags" DWORD and restart the Symantec Management Agent service. Check if the reboots stop.
