How can we use CA Database Surgeon to zap an RBA to resolve a corrupt database?

Sample JCL for the display and zap functions of Database Surgeon can be found in CIMTSAMP(JCLDBS).

In this example the BLOCKS and OFFSET control statements have been used but these can be replaced with a specific RBA, in either decimal or hexadecimal format:

RBA=n
RBA=X'y'

In the JCL and in the control cards, DBSRZAP defines the database data set.

Note if you are using RBA, then you should remove BLOCK and OFFSET.
