Package Server tab is missing in the Sym Agent Properties page

Issue/Introduction

While the new Package Server is replicating the packages, the Package Server tab disappears automaticall in the Sym Agent UI.

Environment

ITMS 8.x

Cause

The Package Server tab is closed in the Symantec Management Agent (SMA) UI.

Resolution

Open the Sym Agent Properties UI, click on View and select Package Server. This will show the Package Server tab properl:

If the above option does not work then check the following registry location to see if it exists:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Altiris\Altiris Agent\Plugin Objects\Pages\{C7FFB87B-6F41-45FB-89FB-35DE7CC00C72}]

If it still does not exist then copy the following text, create a new file named PS.reg, paste the contents into the file and execute it on the Site Server with the issue:
