1. Should this happen, SSH into the CLI Console and execute "debug disk" command. Ensure there is sufficient storage available. SV4800> debug disk Filesystem Type Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on rootfs rootfs 2.0G 741M 1.1G 41% / /dev/sslv/root ext4 2.0G 741M 1.1G 41% / none tmpfs 9.8G 24K 9.8G 1% /tmp none tmpfs 9.8G 4.0K 9.8G 1% /var/lib/snmp none devtmpfs 9.8G 4.0K 9.8G 1% /dev none tmpfs 2.0G 360K 2.0G 1% /run none tmpfs 5.0M 0 5.0M 0% /run/lock none tmpfs 9.8G 4.0K 9.8G 1% /run/shm /dev/mapper/sslv-ui ext4 976M 21M 905M 3% /opt/sslv/ui /dev/mapper/sslv-log ext4 3.9G 499M 3.2G 14% /var/log /dev/mapper/sslv-data ext4 31G 9.8G 20G 34% /opt/sslv/data
If there are highly utilized partitions, contact Support to assist in freeing up the disk space.
2. If there is sufficient storage available, the problem is likely due to a shortage of memory. In this case, the software update could be scheduled to a time where load is lower on the appliance. Another option is to reboot the SSL Visibility appliance to free up memory and retry the software update.
