Inquiries concerning C and COBOL languages

Issue/Introduction

We are going to apply IBM APAR PI36683 (PTF: UI36153, UI38933) which has information about Enterprise for COBOL V 5.1 and XML - CODE for preventive maintenance and want to know that :

- Is this product coded in C language or Enterprise for COBOL V 5.1?

- Does this product use XML - CODE?

Resolution

This product is mostly not written in C language, it is mostly Assembler and COBOL. Some small parts of the JARS/OLF facility and/or PMA Chargeback are written in C, but there's not a lot there.
We do use Enterprise COBOL and use the IBM Language Environment (LE) for COBOL and C. We don't use XML.
