Issue/Introduction

After upgrade to 1.7.1.2 or if for other reasons, Statistics Monitoring Widgets are not showing any data from ProxySG

Environment

Statistics Collection was performed over HTTP over port 9009 on releases before 1.7.1.2. This was changed as of 1.7.1.2 to get this data over HTTPS on port 9010  by default.

Resolution

To fix this and start collecting Statistics again, run the following Jobs to Disable and then Enable the Statistics Monitoring again to force Management Center and the Proxies to create/recreate the necessary SSL Certs, CCL and Device Profile, and open the correct Port and https URLs.

  1. Create a job on Management Center to Disable Statistics Monitoring, and manually select all target ProxySG appliances (Jobs > Scheduled Jobs > New Job). Details below:
    • Name > Click Next
    • Operation = Change Monitoring State > Uncheck option "Change Health Monitoring State" > Check option "Change Statistics Monitoring state" > Check option to "Disable Statistics Monitoring collection" > Click Next
    • Select Devices to Disable > click Next
    • Select Immediate > click Finish
  2. Create a job on Management Center to Enable Statistics Monitoring,and manually select all target ProxySG appliances (Jobs > Scheduled Jobs > New Job). Details below:
    • Name > Click Next
    • Operation = Change Monitoring State > Uncheck option "Change Health Monitoring State" > Check option "Change Statistics Monitoring state" > Check option to "Enable Statistics Monitoring collection" > Click Next
    • Select Devices to Enable > click Next
    • Select Immediate > click Finish
