Resolving "No Boot Device Found" error when trying to install a new version of Security Analytics

This has been seen on new installations during the first boot.  This is usually caused by improper configuration in the BIOS.


  1. Boot the system and when prompted by the message, press F2.  This should appear during the first few minutes of power up.  F2 is for System BIOS.
  2. Select Boot Settings
  3. If the Boot Mode is UEFI, it needs to be changed.  Select Boot Mode BIOS.
  4. Check that the Boot Sequence specifies Hard Drive C:
  5. Press ESC to exit and select Yes when prompted to save.  
After a reboot the appliance should be able to find the correct boot strap.
