Cloud Data Protection (CDP) 2.x - Sometimes exact search is required when searching for record name with numbers/special characters

Issue/Introduction

Under the following circumstances, lookup and global searches through the CDP will not be working as expected:

  1. Record name contains numeric characters
  2. Record name contains special characters


In the above cases, performing exact search (i.e. enclosing search term in a pair of double quotation marks) will be required to in order to search for records that fit the above description.

Examples
An account record with name "Test RD3" exists:

  • This search term will NOT return the account record in question: test rd3
  • This search term WILL return the account record in question: "test rd3"

An account record with name " HEWLETT PACKARD AUSTRALIA P/L " exists:

  • This search term will NOT return the account record in question: hewlett packard
  • These search terms WILL return the account record in question: " hewlett packard" or " hewlett packard australia"
