Why do PacketShaper license keys show as Expired?

Article ID: 169037

Updated On:

After attempting to apply a new license key to a PacketShaper, an error displays that the key has expired even though they are permanent keys with no expiry date.

When copying and pasting license keys, make sure there are no empty spaces at the end of the key as this can cause the PacketShaper to expect an expiry date; if no date is entered after the space, the PacketShaper believes that the keys have expired and does not apply the keys to the configuration.

If this occurs, remove the extra space and apply the license again. Reset the PacketShaper to make the license key active.
