Issue/Introduction

Do the virtual appliance (VA) versions of Management Center (MC) support the installation of VMware tools?

Resolution

VMware tools are a set of utilities provided by VMware to help manage virtual instances of operating systems on to which they are installed. It is not possible to install additional applications onto Management Center at runtime. Thus, it is not possible to install VMware tools onto Management Center VA.
