Issue/Introduction

You are polling SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) HTTP connection statistics and you would like to know what the values mean and what statistics do they correspond to on the ProxySG appliance.

Resolution

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.3417.2.11.3.1.3.1.0 corresponds to the ProxySG statistic HTTP_MAIN_0105 - currently created (including idle persistent client workers)
This statistic represents the number of HTTP client workers, both idle and active.

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.3417.2.11.3.1.3.2.0 corresponds to the ProxySG statistic HTTP_MAIN_0102 - Client workers currently active (processing HTTP request)
This statistic represents the number of active client workers, that is, the workers actively processing browser requests from clients.

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.3417.2.11.3.1.3.3.0 is a derived statistic from the difference between total client workers and active client workers which results
in the total number of idle workers.

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.3417.2.11.3.1.3.4.0 is a derived statistic which is the sum of active and idle server and refresh workers which results
in the total number of server workers and refresh workers.

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.3417.2.11.3.1.3.5.0 corresponds to the ProxySG statistic HTTP_MAIN_0111 - Server workers currently active
This statistic represents the number of active server workers and refresh workers, that is, the workers that are actively retrieving data from HTTP servers on behalf of
the proxy.

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.3417.2.11.3.1.3.6.0 corresponds to the ProxySG statistic HTTP_MAIN_0161 - The current number of elements in the server side persistent connection cache
This statistic represents the number of idle server workers.
