Unable to Download Unified Agent from Web Security Service Portal

In the Web Security Service (WSS) Portal, unable to download Unified Agent (UA) and asks to edit the Symantec Secure Login Profile.


You must complete the required fields (*) and agree to be screened for export controls before downloading software.


A probable cause is that the required information for export controls compliance screening has not been provided.

  1. Log in to the portal; in the upper right hand corner, click Edit Profile

  2. Click the pencil icon by the Name, Address, and Mobile Phone section.

  3. Fill out the form and click Update. Once the information is updated, a prompt will appear and asking to log back in.

  4. After logging back in, re-attempt the download.

NOTE: This information must be provided before software can be downloaded from WSS. Inaccurate or incomplete responses results in a suspension of download privileges.
